Joe Stopper is Senior Vice President for Planning and Analysis for Ramaco. He focuses on investment finance, capital management, and the structuring and procurement activities for both the company’s rare earth elements and critical minerals sector, as well as its metallurgical coal platforms.

Before joining Ramaco, Mr. Stopper was a senior director for the White House National Energy Dominance Council and a senior advisor to the Office of the Secretary at the U.S. Department of the Interior. Earlier in his career, he was a partner at Yorktown Energy Partners in New York, where he spent twelve years serving on the boards of numerous companies across the energy industry.

Mr. Stopper holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Yale University and is active on several philanthropic boards.
