As the nation and world take on the challenge of navigating extreme weather events, it’s clear that addressing the needs for a safe, secure and resilient energy infrastructure will be a critical step towards a successful outcome. The Appalachian Mountain region possesses a unique set of opportunities and barriers that will require local communities, businesses, educational institutions, non-profit organizations and governments to come together to develop affordable, Appalachian-based solutions. This will be advanced through a broad range of energy generation, storage and distribution. Approaches will address economic development and responsible use of natural and renewable resources.

Registration for non-US citizens closes on January 1, 2027.
